During this two day workshops, you will be shown the principles of painting in watercolour and go on to paint a larger landscape or cityscape. 


We will look at perspective, colour and tone in the landscape.  Individual tuition and general direction will help you organise your composition.


If you paint in watercolours bring your usual materials. 

If not you will need:

  • 2B pencil

  • small set of watercolours or a minimum of 3 tubes (crimson,  yellow ochre and ultramarine  blue)

  • white palette or white plate

  • watercolour pad (weight of paper - 140lb or more) in a pad or loose paper with a board

  • size 10 round brush

  • 2in flat brush which could just be a decorating brush
