In this workshop run over three half days, students will explore the characteristics of a range of drawing media and to discover how they interact. Students will be encouraged to embrace and make good use of the unpredictable results of combining media. Orchestrating the mixed layers, the range of surface qualities and marks to achieve a desired outcome is often thought to be challenging. With guidance from your tutor the student will discover how rewarding a process it is. Students will develop a series of related exploratory works based on observational drawing, location work (weather permitting) or found objects.
