This four day workshop begins with a visit to the National Gallery to see five of Titian’s "Poesie" Series being exhibited in the summer for the first time since 1704. During this visit we will be making transcriptions of one or more of these paintings in order to understand the art of visual storytelling.

Over the next three days students will be drawing from a still life with model set up in the studio to recreate a story from mythology.

From these drawings the student will go on to make a painting in which they tell the visual story in their own personal style.
