COLOUR IN WATERCOLOUR LANDSCAPES

A short course of four exercises to explore colour in watercolour landscape, how to mix it, and how to use it expressively.
Each class will come in the form of a detailed step-by-step pdf to take you through exercise, together with a forty minute Zoom meeting where advice and simple demonstrations will be offered by the tutor.
The tutor will also be available for online advice as required. Taught by award winning watercolorist David Forster RSW.
Paint: Winsor Violet / Dioxazine Purple, French Ultramarine, Cadmium Orange, Prussian blue, Cobalt blue, Permanent rose, Cadmium red (pale), Cadmium lemon- or Winsor and Newton "Winsor lemon", Viridian (Hue)- or Winsor and Newton "Winsor green- blue shade), Burnt Sienna
Optional paints- purple/mauve, orange, turquoise
Brushes: round watercolour brushes No's 8 & 3
Paper: A3ish sheet or pad watercolour paper 140lb rough
Palette: white ceramic or enamel plate
HB pencil, pencil sharpener and rubber
