Drawing in Seclusion is an artistic journey of discovery of your own home! Using the art materials you have at home, you will be guided through drawing sessions focusing on different objects and 'landscapes' present in your home. You will also be taught various techniques and will improve your drawing skills.

The aim of this class is to teach you drawing techniques as well as to help you explore your living space in a new way.

We will consider shapes, shadows, textures, lines, depth,.. and various aspects of drawing while rediscovering all the fascinating things we live with.

Ideal during a lockdown or for anyone who has to spend their time indoors.

Drawing in Seclusion is a course taught through video tutorials and personal email feedback. You will receive a link to a video tutorial every week for 10 weeks on Thursdays, and will have the opportunity to send an image of your drawing by email during the week if you wish to receive a feedback on it with pointers on how to progress.

Cécile's video are not demonstrations but tutorials: She wants you to be able to develop your own style and learn skills you can reuse and master, rather than imitating a drawing following a step by step guide. If you want to have fun while learning and enjoy new ways of drawing at home, this is the course for you!

Whatever art materials and paper you have in the house!
