Evolving Acrylics

with artist Helen Jackson

Fridays 1.30pm - 4.00pm

10 Weeks from Friday 17th January

to Friday 27th March

(No class Friday 14th February)

13a Great King Street, EH3 6QW

This course is suitable for those who are new to acrylics, and those that already have some experience with the medium.
The group will work from both still life set ups and the clothed figure to provide a comprehensive understanding of how to create colour mixes by using the six basic warm and cool colours together with white.

At the beginning of each class students will make thumbnail studies in pencil to gain insight into how composition influences the making of a painting.

Students may also wish to attend the complementary Evolving Drawing course with Helen Jackson on Friday mornings from 10.00am - 12.30pm.
