Fluid acrylics marry the transparency and flow of watercolour, with the glazing potential of acrylic. They allow a clarity of texture and a richness of tone unsurpassed in either medium. As a specialist landscape painter in fluid acrylic and watercolour, David will help you explore the fascinating possibilities of these exciting paints.

In this one day workshop, students will paint landscapes using photographs as a reference.

The workshop is designed for adults who have some experience in either watercolour or acrylic, and who want to explore the medium of Fluid Acrylics.

Students will have a lunch break each day and are welcome to eat in the studio, in our garden or pop out to a café for lunch (there are several in the local area).
Weather permitting, you can also access our beautiful peaceful sculpture garden for inspiration and source material.

The paints and equipment are provided for this workshop. Please bring along the following materials to the workshop:

- A3 Watercolour paper, rough surface. Two sheets
- Round watercolour brushes, size eight and three. (Recommended. Prolene Pro Arte)
- HB Pencil and rubber

Please read COVID-19 Guidelines page for information about studio-based classes.
