Introduction to Comics & Graphic Novels
with artist and tutor Cécile Simonis
Sundays from 10.00am - 12.30pm
A Five Week Course:
13a Great King Street, EH3 6QW
Come and learn how to build and draw your own comics and graphic novels.
During this five week course, you will learn how comics are made, get the chance to create your characters and build your own story visually. You don’t need to have an idea for a story before you start the class as you will be help from the very start of the process.
Complete beginners are welcome, as well as people with experience drawing their comics. Previous experience in learning drawing is desirable but not necessary: the most important thing is that you enjoy drawing and like comics and graphic novels. Any themes and styles are welcome and can be explored.
If you have time to do a bit of homework during the classes, it will speed up your work. But if not, you'll still be able to learn a lot from it.
Join us for a lot of fun, imagination and invention!
