Service Description
Has a scene in nature ever taken your breath away? I’m lucky to live in one of the world's most beautiful places. And this time of year offers a variety of moods, with changing weather patterns that transform the land and sky. Let’s go to the Scottish Highlands on a virtual tour. To get us in the grove and feel inspired to paint, I’ll show you pictures and short videos that will make you feel like you’re there! In this two session workshop, we will talk about colour character, and moving pigment in a way that transforms the atmosphere of the land. Each day will be on the concentration of a new landscape with a unique character. This open and interactive course will spotlight the instructor’s palette, work surface, and reference in real time, so you can directly see exactly how he mixes and applies paint. The process will be step by step based with short demos so you can take time to follow along and ask questions all the way to the finished painting. Use the supplies you prefer and are already comfortable with of course. This list is a recommendation. If you see something in it you don’t yet have, you may want to try!
