Ben Hopkins

Ben Hopkins is a draftsman and painter coming from Edinburgh, Scotland. His work has been displayed with The Royal Society of Oil Painters, The Royal Society of Marine Artists and part of The Scottish Portrait Awards. Starting his artistic training in illustration at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design, he developed a stronger interest in more classical draftsmanship and so with the help of grants from Hope Scot and the John Preston Trust decided to pursue training at the Barcelona Academy of Art, a school based on developing strong foundations of academic drawing and painting.
