Madeleine Pinkerton

Madeline is an Illustrator based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Her art inspiration comes from observing the natural world and the little creatures and stories it contains.

She loves being in the outdoors and this often takes the form of cycling, walking and camping trips.

Her first picture book ‘A Dragon Story’ was published by Little Door Books and I have done various events and workshops with festivals, local libraries and nurseries, recently branching out into window paintings. She make cards and prints that she currently sells locally.

Maddie is a gifted and very sympathetic teacher, and all who would like to explore the world of children's picture book illustration have a wonderful experience with her.
