During this course, students will learn how to keep and use a travel sketchbook.
We will learn how to use very diverse drawing and sketching techniques in order to build the confidence to take a sketchbook, put a couple of pens in their pocket and go and draw pretty much anything!
Students will have the chance to draw in very varied locations, indoors and outdoors, and discover lesser known parts of the Edinburgh area as well as drawing inside some of the most popular wonders of the city.
We will look at very varied types of objects, figures, architectural elements etc and learn how to sketch them in order to keep a memory of them, understand them better or just build a nice image to look at.
To get the most out of this course it is preferable to have some previous drawing experience; most importantly though, students should enjoy the experience of drawing and be ready to experiment and have fun!
