Kerrie McGibbon

Kerrie is a practicing artist and experienced secondary teacher in Edinburgh. Exhibiting regularly, Kerrieā€™s artwork is inspired predominantly by the Scottish Landscape and surrounding Coastline she works in a variety of different mediums building up layers, glazes and textures then finishing off with oils to try to capture the ever-changing facets of the light, the weather, and its effect on the landscape.

Kerrie trained in Drawing and Painting at Edinburgh college of art, graduating with a B.A Hons in 1998 and from then began to exhibit in galleries regularly while bringing up her family and pursuing a career in teaching.

Kerrie is a versatile teacher and has a long experience with special needs students, teens, children and adults. We are delighted to have her as part of our team at The Edinburgh Drawing School where she can introduce beginner students to a range of different mediums and techniques.
