Every weekend has a dry cover option which will be selected by James should need be. The Dean Village is culturally significant as a record of Edinburgh’s industrial past. The village’s transformation from a bustling milling centre to a tranquil residential community symbolises the city’s ability to adapt to a changing cultural and economic landscape. It is a cherished beauty spot within the heart of Edinburgh. Nestled along the tranquil Water of Leith, The Dean village traces its origins to the Water of Leith Village, a milling community founded in the 12th century. The blend of old with new makes this a wonderful place to be explored artistically. Just a short walk away, visitors can also browse exhibitions in the Dean Gallery and the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art, with many great paintings housed there.
